Retro Rooms

Play retro games online with a friend. Bring your own game file.

1 · Your game

Load a ROM you legally own. It stays in your browser and is never uploaded anywhere. Both players need the exact same file.

Add a ROM file Remember it on this device (saved in this browser only) System

2 · Invite a friend

After you load your ROM, copy this link. Your friend opens it, loads their copy of the same game, and you both join the same room.

3 · Play

Netplay server

Once the game starts, move the mouse over the game and use the Netplay button in the toolbar (the globe icon) to create or join a room. Rooms are grouped by game, so only players with the same ROM see each other. The host runs the game and streams it to the guest, so the host should keep this tab open and visible. The guest should click the game picture once before using the keys.
